With 30 years of experience in film and television, Clary began his career as a production manager in the mid-90s and eventually worked his way up to Executive Producer.
Over the course of his career, Clary has amassed an extensive portfolio of films and television projects, including being part of four visual effects teams that won Oscars for Best Visual Effects
("Independence Day," "Titanic," "What Dreams May Come," and "1917"). A highlight of his television career was working on the Steven Spielberg-produced HBO mini-series "The Pacific," which won an Emmy for Best Visual Effects in 2010. This wealth of experience has enabled Clary to collaborate with some of Hollywood’s most creative filmmakers.
Clary joins WeFX from Cinesite Montreal, where he served as Executive Producer - VFX. During his three years at Cinesite, he brought a unique blend of creative leadership, project management, client relations, and financial oversight to high-profile projects such as "The Fall Guy," "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever," and "Blitz," which earned a Visual Effects Society (VES) nomination for Outstanding Supporting Visual Effects in a Photoreal Feature.
With a distinguished career that has impacted the visual effects industry, Clary’s ongoing contributions continue to drive innovation and elevate the art of visual storytelling. His hard work and dedication will make him a key figure in opening the doors for the future of VFX production at WeFX.
